NVIDIA is launching the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti today, their third card in the GeForce RTX 50 of Blackwell-powered graphics card. This card continues NVIDIA’s release wave of making twin xx70 cards with xx70 Ti being much more powerful but still has a decent gap for the bigger xx80 card, in this case the RTX 5080. While western MSRP puts the RTX 5070 Ti at $750 at launch, the Philippines MSRP of the RTX 5070 Ti from AIC partners is PHP 54,630. And while its yet to be seen how supplies look for MSRP variants, the beefier models are expected to go higher.

NVIDIA positions the RTX 5070 Ti as a prime 1440p card but can still do plenty of 4K gaming. With DLSS4 offering plenty of wiggle room as well, the RTX 5070 Ti is shaping up compete heavily with AMD’s aging RX 7900XTX/XT cards. Like the RTX 4070 Ti, the RTX 5070 Ti is launching as from board partners only meaning brands like MSI and the rest have the market for themselves without having to contend with NVIDIA’s own Founders Edition cards where they are available.

Reviews for the MSRP cards launch today with OC card embargo lifts tomorrow. In this review we’ll be looking at the MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC. Read on!

About the NVIDIA RTX 50 Blackwell Architecture

Msi Rtx 5070 Ti Ventus 3X 12Gb Graphics Card Review

NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series launch was the worst-kept secret of 2024 and leading up to the first of 2025, the tech world was ready to see what NVIDIA has in-store in hopes of turning things around for the DIY PC space which has been seeing dwindling interest lately no thanks to both Intel and AMD, albeit the Ryzen 7 9800X3D was an expected exception.

Powered by Blackwell, NVIDIA’s domination over machine learning and deep learning has put ray tracing to the wayside focusing on improving the visual experience with the introduction of Neural Rendering.

Msi Rtx 5070 Ti Ventus 3X 12Gb Graphics Card Review

NVIDIA describes neural rendering as their direction for modern graphics integrating generative AI models to assist in scenes going further than just ray reconstruction. Blackwell introduces Mega Geometry but the most notable development here amongst all is the introduction of Multi-Frame Generation. The next stage of DLSS, DLSS4 brings Multi-Frame Generation enabled by the Blackwell architecture enabling up to 3 more frames to be generated following a single rendered frame, effectively a 4x multiplier. A newer Transformer-based model for DLSS bumps up all DLSS releases benefiting not just the RTX 50 but even previous RTX cards.

About the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

Msi Rtx 5070 Ti Ventus 3X 12Gb Graphics Card Review

The RTX 5070 Ti, built on GB205 silicon, sits comfortably below the RTX 5080 while delivering a notable leap in performance over the 4070 Ti lineup. It features 8960 CUDA cores, up from 8448 cores on the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and a significant jump from the original RTX 4070 Ti’s 7680 cores. Backing this up is 16GB of GDDR7 memory, operating on a 256-bit bus, resulting in a bandwidth of 896GB/s—a sizable upgrade from the 12GB GDDR6X, 192-bit bus, and 672GB/s bandwidth of the 4070 Ti series. The RTX 5070 Ti runs at a base clock of 2300MHz, with a boost clock of 2450MHz, making it a formidable choice for 1440p high refresh rate gaming and an entry-level 4K experience.

Our sample unit, the MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC, sticks with MSI’s tried-and-true Ventus design, featuring a triple-fan cooling system that aims to keep thermals in check under 300W of power draw. Out of the box, the Ventus 3X OC features a factory overclocked Extreme Performance mode of 2497MHz, slightly higher than stock boost clocks. While not a flagship SUPRIM or GAMING X TRIO SKU, the Ventus 3X still offers a solid balance of cooling performance and affordability, making it an attractive option for builders looking for next-gen performance without the added premium of a flagship factory OC card.
